Leading Cosmic Trigger

Description

I always loved this route, and dont know if it gets climbed anymore... I would do I Have The Touch and then get on Cosmic, but this was a while ago, and it not being on the Fraggle list I thought it needed to be, but may be gone just as some sport routes/TR anchors in JT.

Location

Left of I Have The Touch - Cover of 1992 Randy's Guide

Protection

6 bolts. Anchors on top.

Originally rated 5.13b by the first ascensionist and reported in Climbing Magazine #120 (June/July 1990) as "a sustained pitch the final move of which involves a four-and-a-half-foot dyno."

Like several of the harder bolted lines here the initial grades given were a bit enthusiastic.

Downrating it that much seems a bit much - felt pretty hard to me, more painful than anything!

The stars Troy gave to his JT routes in the '92 guide were definitely a bit enthusiastic.
