A bullet hit on a BD carabiner

Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April MORE INFO >>>

Just to the left and on the same short wall as Maple Jones. Good Rock all things considering.

Pitch #1: Pockets and cobble your way up to a bulge and lower angle climbing to the belay. 5.10b, 15m.

Matthew Washburn's carabiner left during equipping the original belay had been shot and destroyed by a stray bullet!

About 50 feet up canyon and to the left of Maple Jones. Follows a compact stretch of black water streaked rock.

Rappel the route.

Glue In bolts to the two bolt belay chains.

Holy bouldery start! Watch as you reach the top, rock is really crumbly up there.
