'Conan the Barbarian' [5.11+] is an overhanging boulder crack on a small clifflet at the extreme east end of Olmsted Canyon.


Go to "Broken Arrow" (5.13c) finger crack at the east end of Olmsted Canyon and follow low cliffs right back toward the Tioga Road until you reach the Conan Formation, which is the last cliff:

These cracks are on what is called the Roof Crack Wall in the new Charlie Barrett bouldering guide to T. Meadows.

Great cracks! Might want to bring the tape as they are both overhanging and grainy. Or you could just put your man pants on. I brought the tape, though.

I gather that the left-facing tips dihedral between the two Conan cracks has not yet gone free. Looks very hard to me. Takers? The Tioga Pass Rd. is going to be open fairly soon.

The middle crack is in the neighborhood of v10, around 2007
