The finishing moves.

Start in the cave using the thin crack and dime-edge feet. Make tough moves and big reaches to exit the cave and gain the lieback. From the lieback, make a big move, and hit a decent rail just above the lip. Landing is fairly good...

Cling Free variation: do the same start as Cling Free; however, use the rail of jugs and slopers to the North. If you fall off the topout, you risk falling into a tree and 20 feet down the gully.

This is in the cave on the west side of Dasani. It is not on the same boulder.

Pads and attentive spotters for the finish.

Just as a heads-up, the problems that you have just listed "The Knife", "Skull", etc. have been done quite some time ago and are also listed in Front Range Bouldering.

I completely understand the desire to name things, and post them up on MP, but you might look around a little bit before "finding" new boulder problems in an area that has been climbed at for decades.

Not going to argue with you about the names, but there seem to be a new group that rolls through every few years believing they have "discovered" uncharted boulder problems at S. Morrison.

Perhaps just enjoy the climbing and not worry about getting yourself on MP for the FA?

By the way, the problem you are describing "The Knife" would be a variant to the problem that starts on the same crack but punches straight out the roof and turns the lip - not on the large jugs facing North but on the lip facing East.

Hi Paul,
I knew before I put these up that they weren't FAs, that would be why they didn't have names associated with the first ascent... the names given are what I heard a local call them... not my names. There was chalk on them when I came across them. I was putting these up on MP so others could find them.

I think I checked the Front Range bouldering guide a bit ago and couldn't recognize any description for the boulders, so I guess that would be my bad, I'm going off of what others told me.

If you know the names of the problem, please message me, and we can sort them out.
