Hi all,

just a quick post to try and find like minded people. I live in redondo beach ca, and i'm looking for a climbing/backcountry partner for this winter. I'm training for a climb in alaska may 2013 and i'm looking for someone who is interested in taking a few trips this winter. my schedule is very flexible and i'd love to find someone who is interested in meeting up to climb...

thanks for reading

I'd like to get up Baldy, Gorgonio, Whitney, misc. Sierras, etc. while there's some snow on them.. only problem is I'm pretty much restricted to weekends due to work.

Hey Nick,
I'd be willing to go out on a few climbs with you after chatting a bit and maybe going to a local crag or on a day trip.

PM me.

I'm definitely interested in doing some So-Cal mountains and some stuff in the Sierra's. I have a permit to climb San G over presidents day weekend (I posted the info to the forum). I have 4 slots open on the permit and so far it's just me and one other friend who is tentative due to work.

Over New Year's I attempted Matterhorn Peak in the Sawtooth range which was a really fun climb it was just a bit to dangerous when I went. The trailhead is in Bridgeport at the end of twin lake road and that would be a climb I would like to attempt again before the snowman melts.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
