Hello! I'm from the USA and I'm living in Bucaramanga, Colombia for the next 8 months. I would love to find some folks to go climbing with - either at the indoor climbing wall in Cabacera or in the mountains near Bucaramanga. I'm not a hardcore climber - I like 5.6-5.8. Let me know if anyone is interested! KatherineMP

Hi Katherine,

I'm from the US, but have been living in Medellin since last September. Although Bucaramanga is a bit far for a weekend trip, it could work for some of the 3-day weekends. Plus, there's December/January! Also, if you take a trip to Medellin, I would be happy meet and help out how I can, and there's climbing on a big granite dome in El Peñol/Guatape.

You should definitely find your way up to La Mojarra in La Mesa De Los Santos. Though there aren't many easy routes all the routes are stellar in an amazing setting! Good choice on Colombia! You'll love it as long as you 'no dar la papaya'.

Make sure to Check out Suesca near Bogota! It is absolutely amazing! Plenty of great easy routes too!
