Hello Friends! Is there anyone around here in this grand corner of Missouri?

I find myself here for work (first time in MO) for a month or so. As is usual, I threw a little climbing gear into my bag. I heard there were caves here (although some may be closed due to white nose disease?), so I also put in some light ascending gear. I only have Sundays off, but I would love to meet up with some locals and see what's cool in the region. I'm up for any sort of climbing and pretty capable of most anything to 5.11+. I'm not as experienced at caving but I'd really love to do more. I also like to drink beer if anyone just wants to hit a gym or swap some stories after work.

I've done this a few times in other parts of the country and had some real fun times. MP don't let me down now!

Bump! It was a beautiful day here in the 60s. I went for a hike on the Lewis and Clark trail and the Nuclear Waste Adventure Trail. I'd love to do something more technical next weekend! Or have someone to visit one of the breweries with.

Hey man, I'm in STL. My friends and I go to the Climb SoILL gym Tues/Wed or Tues/Thurs from about 5pm-7pm. If the weather holds, we're probably heading to Sam's Throne in Arkansas for some trad climbing this weekend.

Shoot me a message and I can give my my phone number or Facebook contact.

Hey Dude, do you still come through Missouri? I live about a hour south of downtown STL in DeSoto, MO. There's some decent sport and trad areas within 15 to twenty minutes of me. If you're still in the area let me know and I'll take you out with me. I'm not at incredibly strong climber but I have no problem belaying for other people on harder routes. Gives me a chance to watch other people and learn.

Hey Dan, sorry I'm back in Seattle now. I'll let you know if I end up in or around STL again. I had a blast climbing out there though. I had good luck meeting up with folks from here, the gym, and meetup.com.
Cheers,
Stewart
