Description

Steep climbing up improbably large and thin jugs. This would be 5.6 if it weren't so steep.

Location

Either lower off of mussy hooks or continue up past one more bolt to a nice ledge with a 1/2" bolt anchor to climb the upper tier routes.

Protection

5 bolts

This is a great route! Pumpy for the first 3 bolts with amazing quality plates. There is another undocumented line of bolts that follows the rappel(to the right of C Mice) - not sure why they wasted the hardware as this is a natural TR.

Very fun, the extension over the boulder & pulling it is the one and only 5.8 move on the route. Problem being, if you're splitting into two pitches (as you may due to preserver you rope from dragging over the low angle sub-summit) you'll arrive to no anchor.

You'll find a single belay bolt over to the back and it's a spot where you could sit without getting pulled out but again, the rope would be dragged along the summit for the follower. With no gear in tow and the horns unsuitable to sling, I utilized the single bolt from the back and extended to the front & final bolt of the route to bring up my partner. It worked but wasn't ideal.
