BETA PHOTO: Banana Belt at Washbowl Pond.

This is a pretty good sport pitch, and a good destination in a pretty location. It was recently (2016) upgraded: cleaned, re-bolted, and a fixed anchor added. A stick clip helps, as the bottom is cruxy.

P1: Climb the face past 5 bolts to a ledge with a fixed anchor. 5.9

The arete to the right is also pretty good, called Banana Hammock (11a), and can be TRed from the same anchor.

From the toe of the buttress, walk left uphill along the base of the cliff. The route begins on a face just left of a right-facing corner. There is a large tree, 5' back from the base of the route.

Bolts; fixed anchor.
