Description

Climb up the vertical wall of eyebrows on the left most route. Go halfway up and drop, or take on the headwall(needs cleaning)! A tree makes the landing a bit exciting for the upper section, but remember it's a state park (aka don't kill the tree). The grade does not represent the headwall difficulty. Let me know if you do it.

Location

vertical wall downriver of the cliffs

Protection

pad and good spot

I think this is what I climbed…lacked a spotter or pad so I didn't top out, would love to try it again with some help. Also I talked to the Eno River Associated about developing the boulders, i.e. cleaning the faces, clearing small landing zones, and removing brush from above for top outs. Hopefully they go for it.

I talked to a ranger who saw us walking up and was fine with it as long as we tread lightly and minimized impact as much as possible. All unnofficial, but a good sign. Here's a little video to see if you climbed what you thought you did.

Awesome video. I was out there a few days ago, its getting pretty overgrown, I still haven't managed to find that roof. I'll post on here next time I'm going out there.
