Description

Excellent climbing up limestone crimps and edges. Sustained and alpine-feeling for such an easy access route.

P1 3b
P2 6a+ on left hand side of dihedral, some gear required
P3 6c hard moves over a little roof, then easy climbing to a last hard section with technical traversing
P4 6a
P5 6a
P6 6a+ super fun crimping
P7 7a Reasonable but hardish (6b) moves across a fun traverse. Keep going right around the corner to the 7a crimpy finish. Closely-bolted and aid-able if necessary
P8 6a stemming corner, gear protected
P9 5c Chill finish on big holds to the summit.

Descend down the blue-and-white blazed mountaineers trail.

Location

Line of strength up the middle of Zuestoll.

Approach between Zuestoll and Brisi; follow the white-and-red blazed SAC trail up towards Brisi, but then veer left to follow the climbers trail between the two.

At the ridge, go straight left across the face (do not descend down the saddle on the South side). Fixed ropes will take you to the base of the 3b pitch which serves as the access for all the routes.

Route names is painted on, just go straight up the left hand side of the dihedral at the top of this access pitch.

Protection

Bolts and gear. Bring a single rack 0.3-2 and a few nuts. Several pitches require gear for reasonably safe leading; the harder stuff is all well-bolted.
