BETA PHOTO: The Cherry arete

The pretty arete on the right side of the boulder listed as #13 on the overview map. Starts in a lower band of gray schist then moves into the orange rock. Start crouching at the lowest point of the boulder, hands on a good flake. Make your way to the big flake above that starts as an undercling, then continue working your way up the arete.

Look at the overview map and roughly follow the red dashed line from the Shipyard boulder up past the left side of the Orange Arete and the long overhanging face of boulder #9. Start looking off to the left and you will see two nice blocks with great looking aretes, the lower one very highball (boulder #14) This route is on the boulder higher up the hill of the two.

In the past I climbed several other lines to the left on this boulder, but they are now completely overgrown and need to be re-cleaned. This is the plumb of the boulder though.

Pad or two, spot. watch for the slab to the right, or if you really come off wildly, the tree to the left
