Development just started for this area. We hope to explore more this summer. There are plenty of boulders underneath the bluffs to make this a solid weekend destination.

The boulders here are neither really solid and strong quality or just too short to climb.

Getting There

The overlook is on the SW side of the lake, which allows for the easiest access to the cliffs

Well circumstances mean leaving Joshua tree and heading to dodge city :/ so it would seem cedar bluffs is the closest potential for climbing. Looks promising though definitely already planning being there as much as possible this summer. Anyone near dodge with the same idea maybe we could car pool! All about new development!

So I am the one who posted all the stuff and there is for sure room for development. I head out that way once in a while, but I live in the eastern zone of the state. First goal is to just keep looking for boulders and the ones I have found are solid rock with cool features. Next I am going to clear and build landings.

I think I'm actually going to check this place out. It's only 85 miles away. Hope it's good.
