This is a smaller craglet with at least 4 easy to moderate routes. It is the southernmost of the obvious craglets here and lies basically east of the first pullout/campsite on the right.

Left -> right:

A. Unknown A, 8 PG-13, 1p, 55', bolts & gear.
B. Unknown TR?, 1p, 60'. Single bolt directional above.
C. Unknown C, 6 PG-13, 1p, 65', bolts +/- gear.
D. Groove, 1p, 70', gear.

Getting There

Wander up fairly open forest keeping an eye out for a low angled dome with a couple of overlaps on its left side and very low angled rock on its right side. It should be 10 minutes or less and probably 150 feet or less elevation gain from FR 217.

Climbing Season

For the CO Hwy 7 & Tributaries area.

Weather station 4.3 miles from here

This is a pleasant romp up low-angled, fairly featured slab with a couple colorful, homemade hangers. The crux is probably before the first bolt. There are enough bolts on first pass to consider it a sport climb; however, the 5.6 leader would have groundfall potential without supplemental gear.To descend, walkoff to the right and down a groove/ramp or around the backside....[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado

I think it is very important to point out that this area is a *designated* area for gun enthusiasts with signs indicating that shooting is permitted. This isn't just an area where people come to party, congregate, or camp and sometimes someone brings a gun. This area is *designated* for shooting so expect people to be there shooting, and since there is no specific gun range, expect them to be shooting near you and hopefully not at you!
