is this the start your talking about?

Description

So, this is a traverse, it as at the bottom of one of the old traditional routes. This is the traverse, starting with the left boulder, basically just slap the top and step up, a small split or dyno to the rail, across and under to the second slab, if you top out at the rail on the second slab it's 5.9+, go to the crack for 5.10, push past the crack for 5.11+, and if you happen to make it all the way to the third slab where you can't do anything but top out, you have made the entire traverse, which feels in the early 12 grade, but I am not attached to the grade, so whatever people say.

Location

You walk into the canyon and if you stay to the left, you will run into some slabs.

Protection

A pad and some spotters, its short, but trying.
