The throw under the roof

All you need for a quick session! Awesome problems and several tough test pieces. Quality rock within a short hike and a good grade range to keep most any climber busy.

Getting There

Walk from the parking lot for a whopping 1 minute to the Small Block on the left side of the trail, then Cascadia on the right next to the creek. Cross the bridge to the other side of the stream and head downstream and (if you can find it) you will get to the Clandestine Boulder and then the Waterfall Block (right next to the creek). Further downstream and up the hillside is the huge Supermassive Boulder.

Inglorious Original V7 7A+  Virginia : Southwest Virginia Region : ... : Cascadia
Another inglorious line??? Seriously? Yeah, really! This problem is that good. If you have done inglorious, amp it up by adding some more full value moves, you will not regret it. It turns out that this was the original start put up by Austin Manning around 2004/5. He could not remember giving it a name.Start matched on the nice low block crimp that you heel for the start of Inglorious with a toe on the left hold of the start of Inglorious Bastards. Finish on Inglorious.Super classic (IMO)!...[more]   Browse More Classics in Virginia
