Hey all,

I've got a WFR recert in Golden this weekend. I live in the Springs so it'd be a rough commute for three days. I was hoping to park my car somewhere for a couple nights (Friday and Saturday night to be specific) where I won't be harassed and can sleep semi soundly. Thanks for the beta!!

We found some cutty BLM land somewhere west of Golden, but it wasn't easy. I'd go for Walmart/stealth sleep poacher style if I were you. simplyput

I slept a summer in the dinosaur lots on i70 (in my truck). No problems. If you're not into that Feel free to sleep in your car in my driveway in Denver. 20 minutes to Golden. Kevin Nicastro

2 decent spots:
Clear Creek RV Park. It's right along the river in central Golden, within walking distance to Washington St. Nothing fancy, but it'd work!

Or Bear Creek Lake Park campground. Right off c470 and Morrison. 10 minute drive to downtown Golden.

Hope this helps!

Clear Creek RV Park only allows legit RVs. I tried camping in my car at a friends spot who lives there, and they asked us to leave the next day. They weren't dicks, just the rules. Dan Cooksey
