Can't change my avatar picture

I see that the site is now cropping avatar pictures to a square image. I don't like the way mine now looks so I tried changing it but that doesn't seem to work. I hit "Change Avatar" on my personal page, selected a file, and hit save but nothing seems to happen. Anyone else having problems? |

Hi Dave, there was a caching bug preventing you from seeing the updated image. I've fixed that on most pages (including your personal page where you change the avatar), but some pages will take a few days to clear their different caches. |
 I was going to replace one amazing small block with this one. But the cropping or 'Squaring-off' of the shot, cuts off the top of the pinnacle. In the same way the reformatting detracts from : mountainproject.com/images/… |
