Brian Parsons beginning the crux.

Find big holds at the roof, then solve the crux puzzle. Easier but fun climbing leads to the anchors.

From Sun Tan Ledge, aim for the first bolt near the small pine tree below the roof.

8 or 9 bolts to 2-bolt Fixe ring anchors.

First off, this route is fun. Challenging if you want it to be, lots of variety. That being said, it isn't a 5.10. I'd be more willing to accept the rating if the bolts stayed right over the roof, but they swing left in some easier territory. I'll call it a comfortable 5.9, but hey, it's brand new, there are bound to be discrepancies.

Much more importantly, THiS AND ALL ROUTES HERE ARE NEW! THERE IS LOOSE ROCK EVERYWHERE!!!! Be careful when you climb. We're thinking of going back with a hammer and breaking stuff away, but in the meantime be careful! The little 5 are great and solid for aspiring leaders and beginners of ask ages. Great find, hope it gets cleared up a bit for safety. Wear a helmet and have fun!

I think this route is 10a. There are lots of holds above the roof, but the bolters chose the line they wished to climb. I did not find much loose rock.
