Description

Caesar's Palace sits *way* above the S-curves on the West side of Mill B North Fork. From the Mill B/Broads Fork parking at the S-curves, the palace looms at the top of the ridge to the North. The Ruckmans describe the appearance of the Palace as "resembling a poor person's Devil's Tower."

Getting There

Park at S-curves. Walk to The Pile. Take the meager trail West up to the top of the Pile (the trail is just before reaching the main Pile routes). From above the Pile, follow goat trails up and West avoiding scrub oak as best as you can. Eventually a series of talus and scree gullies coming down below Caesar's Palace will be reached. The approach takes roughly 30 minutes if you know where you are going. The Palace is really a series of buttresses stacked on top of each other with large ledge systems separating them. It's a real maze finding your way around up there.
