Description
This is a summer/early fall crag and there very well could be ice climbing in the winter, not sure. These climbs are sport and located just left of the waterfall. The mist can make it cold even in the summer because it goes into the shade mid-afternoon. The climb on the right is pretty easy (5.9ish), the one in the middle is 5.hard (5.12ish???) and the one on the left is 5.harder! There use to be a climb up the cool looking "tube" in the middle of the wall but the bolts have been chopped from the middle, up. Careful because at first glance it looks like it's still bolted. There seems to be opportunities for further development on both sides of the waterfall.
Getting There
If you're heading up Dostyk toward Shymbulak, turn left at the sign for Butakovka. Continue on the road until it dead ends at a small parking area. Park there and hike up canyon for about 20 min. Take a left at the sign for the waterfalls (i think it's the 2nd canyon on the left) and continue up for another 20min. The climbs are located left of the waterfall.
