BETA PHOTO: Pieter heading to the roof on the 6th pitch

9 glorious Blue Mountains pitches with plenty of ironstone buckets, as one might imagine.

Please consult book and/or guide... hike from second car park, rap down twice on 2 60m ropes, hike some more, climb up and walk out.. full, fun day.

Good bolts and belays on comfy ledges, no major runouts.

I thought the route was just so-so until we got to the upper pitches. 80 meters of vertical jug hauling make it all worthwhile. Superior!

Yeah, this climb is definitely a 5.8 (18). I remember us catching a train from Newie with our rickety rental bikes, getting lost on the way back and swarmed with flies, and then rushing to catch the last train by a few minutes. Great adventure.
