Buddha climbs the blunt arete on the left side of ...

Description

A good mix of technique and power is required to make it up this boulder. Sit down start on a left hand sidepull, and a funky right hand. Right hand up to a decent hold, then work the feet, and squeeze and bump the left hand eventually up to a decent crimp in the middle of the face. More compression on a few slopers and crimps leads to the top.

Location

Left arete of the Fish Flop boulder

Protection

2 pads are ok, 3 would be better

This is one of the best boulder problems I've climbed in Ogden.

This also has a scary landing when you are doing the final moves. Be careful.
