Budd Creek offers a lot of potential for climbs that are overlooked due to the bigger and more popular climbs in the Cathedral range. There is almost an unlimited selection of boulders and bigger rock faces that are scattered in the backcountry along Budd Creek.

Getting There

Follow the John Muir Trail from Cathedral Lakes trailhead. Take the climbers trail that leads to Cathedral Peak and Matthes Crest (see Budd Lake Trailhead description).
