Description Suggest change

Broken Top is an old volcano with two glaciers on it.
The standard route is the Northwest ridge, class 4 or 5 easy.
Approach from Green Lakes.

The summit is on the left of the crater, shown in photo.
There are no less than nine routes on Broken Top. The rock is volcanic crud.

Getting There Suggest change

From Bend, drive west on the Cascade Lakes Highway, past Mount Bachelor ski area, to the Green Lakes trailhead.

Northwest Forest Pass required.
