A collection of boulders and a small cliff band, this area holds quite a few good boulder problems and a couple of good roped climbs. Better to go here early or late in the season to avoid the jungle and bugs.

Getting There

Right off of Skyline heading south. About 1/2 a mile past 40th Ave West. Park at the big boulder on the side of the road.

Climbing Season

For the Duluth Bouldering area.

Brewer's Arete 5.13- 7c+ 29 IX+ 29 E7 6c  Minnesota : Duluth Area (Rock and Ice) : ... : Brewer's Park
Climb the prominent arete to the right of Brewer's Crack. All the business is at the bottom and then it mellows out to hard .11 climbing (at least that's what it looks like!)This is an open project so if you are a D-Town hardman get on it, take pics and let us know if you send! The crux is pulling to the second bolt without falling and hitting the ledge. The first bolt just keeps you from cartwheeling down into the woods!...[more]   Browse More Classics in Minnesota

yea i tried it a bit on solo TR, i had some really great moves but most of the time was spent flailing and trying to figure out the would be great to get a partner or even a belay slave as to not mess around with the solo TR rig

Anyone get out there yet this year? Also, has anyone been working that Brewer's Arete lately? Pretty stoked to get outside!
