Looking at the slide from a open patch on the nort...

1500 feet of easy/moderate snow climbing with occasional rock and thin ice. The crux is the approach, because it is a long, long snow slough and don't expect there to be a trail broken. We found the safest way up the slide to be the far right side.

Approach starts at roaring brook trail head. Follow it up the trail until you get passed the brook itself and then a bit further. We got lost around here, I highly recommend bringing a gps and using the coordinates from adirondack rock.

If you really wanted to you could use some snow pickets, but they are unnecessary
