Sean on Bone Chipper Photo: Chad Whitaker

Description

Start on horizontal flake. Move to bulge on corner. Use some fancy footwork to get body under the lip. Make a move out to the final horizontal shelf before using a high heel to gain the left facing diagonal ledge. Bit of a wrestle to gain the summit.

Location

Just left off the main trail. On the other side of Ace's Traverse.

Protection

As with any Stoney Point climb I am hesitant to claim the first accent. It appears that a newly cut down tree opened the route up. If any one knows more about it please share couldn't find any pictures or descriptions on mountain project or in the guide book. Thanks!

left of the main trail isnt very specific, is this on the other side of aces traverse? Checked that out today and there is a ton of chalk on the start holds but nothing on the rest of the boulder. You could post a photo of you doing it?

Just added some pictures hope that helps. I haven't been in the area much so i'm not sure how to improve location in relation to other boulders. I have asked some friends to help. Will update page soon.

Yeah they are just on the other side of Ace's Traverse. I also have worked that problem starting under the roof and moving out left to try and top out using a pocket but I was never able to link the last move. Nice send

Rad! Thanks for the info. If you've got time and psyche you should add those routes to this page. Hopefully I'll see you out there!
