Good Granite climbing with out the crowds. Do not climb here in the Summer it is too hot.

Getting There

Find this area by hiking northwest from the parking area along the mountain bike trail. Look for a big formation on the left with a large crack running down the middle. This is the loaf and the bobcat boulder is the small broken cliff below it. Hike toward formation staying on the main trail.

Climbing Season

For the Little Granite Mountain area.

FYI - It looks like another route (newer bolts) has been added just to the left of Grin and Bear It.

Also of note, we were unable to try it out nor climb any of the routes on Bobcat Boulder or the Loaf yesterday due to overly aggressive bees. Upon reaching the base of Bobcat Boulder numerous bees began flying into our faces. We attempted to move around corner to Loaf and were met with the same response. We quickly packed up and retreated and had bees follow us and continue to show aggression for a couple hundred meters.
