A small area on the ridge near the Main Wall brimming with bouldering potential. Two V-Easy routes have been investigated so far. One can only imagine what will come next.

No need to worry about polished routes over here -- just wait 'till you get your mitts on this fresh limestone! You'll stick to anything you touch. For this reason, it's best to climb these routes with minimal clothing and put as much skin in contact with the rock as possible.

The eponymous Grinder was found between the formations.

Getting There

Follow the trail past the Main Wall area to where it splits off toward the ridge to the West. Descend a few feet pas the ridge and walk north to the collections of rocks.

Climbing Season

For the Wild Iris area.

This virgin limestone will stick to anything, even your skin....[more]   Browse More Classics in Wyoming
