Seasonal Raptor Closure: Noontime and Midnight Rock MORE INFO >>>

I am submitting this because I think it is a great climb. It is not in the Kramar book, appears to be new, but I don't know who set it. It is a mix of trad and bolts, mostly 5.9, but has a few thin crux moves so maybe 10a.
About mid way up there is a right ward ramp, small slab and left traverse past a steep bulge, the upper face at the top is the 2nd crux.
If anyone has info on this please post it.

It is on the left end of Rattlesnake directly behind Piton Tower.

I think it has from 4-6 bolts with gear to 2". There is a bolted anchor.

My wife, Kristen Ward and I put up this route in the summer of 2006. I really haven't been back since, so I don't have much additional information.

I wanted to call it "Rusty Trombone" because it was so dirty, but my wife wouldn't let me. She said, "What if we have a kid someday and it ends up being a girl? What are you going to tell her?" Well, now that I have a 7 year old daughter I can kinda see my wife's point. We ended up naming it "Bite Me", sticking with the rattlesnake theme.

Wow , mystery solved, and I thought it was Jim Yoder.
So, is the 10a grade good?

10a sounds about right to me but it has been a decade since I climbed it.
