Bheemana Bande (Bheema's Boulder) currently supports a trad climb (Chota Bheem) and couple of top ropes (Bheema's Arete). The first few routes were discovered and climbed by a visiting climber Samiran Kolhe of the Konkankada fame with Prashanth and TT on 27 Dec 2016.

Getting There 

20-30 mins hike from the temple. You could hike either from the right (counter-clockwise) or left (clockwise) from the temple and progress towards the high point/summit rock. Bheeman Bande is a little lower. See map

This beautiful arete, with the lake in the backdrop, provides multiple options to climb. Currently top rope (extend the anchor that you set up for Chota Bheema).The classic line would be to start along the crack system on the right side, move to the arete and then start climbing upward. First climbed on TR by Samiran. The crux is the first 15 feet, about 6a/6a+.
