I've been wondering if the roof routes up on Castle like 'Pass Fail Option' had a good photography point to shoot from. They ceratinly might shoot well if you could find a good stance somewhere. Maybe from teh ramp pitch above the top of 'Curving Crack?'
As far as location you can't beat upper dream canyon. Just too purty. If you want the road in the shot for the more typical bocan pic, Tonnere tower has a few great views and it's real easy to take a pic from above that includes the creek and the road under the climber. I guess that would be more "typical bocan" than dream canyon which is just heaven
years ago my partners and myself went to the sport climbing area around and over the top of Mickey Mouse. It had a few good routes, with great views of the plains in the backround. LOOP was the name of one particular climb that I always thought would be a great photo.
Some greats shots can be taken in the Blob Rock area. Some of these include Mile High Comic Crack, Conan, and Vasodialater from the perch across from Conan. I would also highly agree with the picturesque nature of Lucid Dreaming.
