Description

The Berthoud Cave is up in the Inner Canyon, which is the horizontal part of the L and way South.

If you want, you can adopt this subarea.

Getting There

Follow the Lake Gulch trail from the east entrance of Castlewood Canyon. Once you cross the creek head to the right (east) for about 200 yards and look for a slab on your left hand side. There is a faint little trail heading directly up to the Buddha Cave area. The left hand turn is probably 100 yards before the trailside boulder which is a very noticeable feature.
