BETA PHOTO: Topo for Batman

A great beginner lead, Batman follows the leftmost bolt line on the slab. Follow the bolts up and left to the cold shunt anchors. Please use your own carabiners through these anchors if you are going to toprope as they are starting to show wear from years of toproping.

Approach via the standard approach and hike up into a small rock alcove that has a log holding the soil in place. This climb is the leftmost climb on the wall and starts just right of a small haggard looking tree.

6 bolts to chain and rings. Very well protected.

The shuts for this climb are in extremely poor condition (spinning, worn through) and need replacing ASAP.

The anchors for Batman and Robin have both been replaced as of August 2016. Not sure who did it, but both now have two bolts with chains or rap rings, with a third bolt above presumable to aid in cleaning(?). Solid, safe anchors now.

Buy Charles Graham a beer next time you see him, he was behind the anchor replacement on these popular climbs. All hardware should be 12mm and stainless steel, hopefully it'll last for years to come.

Thanks Ty. My name is the other way around - Graham Charles :-)

And thanks to Conrad A who gave me the hardware to replace them from his stash. And yes 1/2 inch and SS. Cheers.
