Bates College Campus Rock Climbing
Thanks to generous donations in the not so distant past, Bates was able to secure its fair share of Maine granite. After it was forcefully exhumed from its home in the ground, it was reconstructed to form beautiful aretes and less impressive window sills. Bates also appears to have only recently discovered that brick is just one of many building materials. Thus, brick is the dominant rock type in this location.
From Lewiston, follow the trail of Vineyard Vines pastel shorts and Canada Goose jackets towards a strange outcropping of brick buildings and green grass.

When you reach the bike rack, make a move similar to the start with more spice and less mono pocket....[more] Browse More Classics in Maine
