Description Suggest change

Some people are calling this slab "Nursery Slab" as well-is that correct? As noted, the "Climber's guide to Tahoe Rock" by Mike Carville, calls it Bastille Slab in the photo and Practice Slab on the topo for School Rock. There are a few bolted anchors routes for top roping--anyone know the rating of the other climbs? I take my kids here and new climbers sometimes. I could never find much info on the slab. I thought the main crack to the far left is pretty easy, maybe 5.2. I often just free-solo to the bolt anchors. Some of the friction slab/face climbing moves are a lot harder.

This should really be its own separate area as it has multiple TR routes. Great for little kids!

(thanks AuburnClimber)

Getting There Suggest change

Park your car on the uphill side of Donner Pass Road between the ski area and Rainbow Bridge, stick your arm out the window and you can practically touch this slab. It's just under the Pacific Crest Trail, just across which is the true School Rock formation.
