Description Suggest change

Baby Bear is the rightmost route at the 64th Birthday area and begins by climbing a thin flake to it's end, then stepping out and climbing the friction face to another cam or tricam placement in a knob inclusion and then 2 more bolts to the chains

Location Suggest change

South end of East face of Punk Rock.
Same area as Mama Bear but 30 ft. to the right beginning on an easy move up a thin flake which steepens and gets thinner. Best to lower with a 70m if the belayer is standing back.

Protection Suggest change

Single set of small cams from Blue Metolius to orange Metolius; 5 Quick draws and 4 long slings.
A yellow Metolius or equivalent tricam fits in the knob inclusion. You need a set of brass tapered nuts or RP's. I used a #2 RP set sideways at the apex of the thin crack.
