Description

This area has a number of crags approximately 20 to 30ft in hight. The jungle is moderately dense and there are no established trails at this time. If you venture into this area be low impact and watch out for wildlife (snakes, scorpions and mosquitoes). Most of the rocks in this area is poor quality for climbing (sharp and jagged), however, there are a few cracks from hand jam to off with/chimney with varying degrees of rock quality to be climbed, if you can find them.

Getting There

From the most Northern part of Railey West beach find the trail that runs between the resorts on your right and the cliff and jungle on your left. Approximately 100 yards down the trail step off into the jungle on your left. Once under the canopy you will find the crags.

Climbing Season

The first half of the climb starts with a few off-width moves and transitions to a few hand jams before you reach a large vine that is coming out of the crack half way up. Once you reach the vine, exit the crack and finish the second half of the climb on the face to the right of the crack. There are some slings around a tree at the top to repel off of....[more]   Browse More Classics in International
