The Aspen Boulder is the gem of the area. 30 seconds from the car, flat landings, solid rock and good problems - little wonder it is popular.
With problems for all on each of its four sides this is a boulder not to be missed.

Getting There
Drive west on the CA-120 for 3.2 miles from the 395. Turn left onto the Poole Power Plant Road. Drive 1.5 miles alone this road until the campground entrance on the left ins reached. Park up here and walk back along the road for a 50 yards then head north into the aspens. After a walk of 30 seconds you'll be at the boulder.
