Of the Tors, Asgard and Lizard's Eye are arguably the most impressive. There are climbs on both the west and east face making it possible to chase the sun. As with the other Tors, wind and rain can come in at any time. Bring warm clothes and rain gear. Fortunately, there is a nice rock to seek shelter under during a storm off the northern side of the tor. If the weather is stable, this rock is definitely worth the extra mileage.
From the Lizard's Eye, continue along the Tors trail towards the east. Asgard Tor is a large, rectangular tor, visible from Lizard's Eye.

This is THE crack of the Tors. The crack varies from hands to fingers before tapering out to 5.9 run-out at the top. A fixed pin at the top of the crack was pulled out with a gentle tug this summer. A couple bolts a the top of this climb would make the lead considerably safer.To top rope the climb, go around to the south side of the rock and follow a ramp to a grassy ledge.
