The next ridge over from Papillon. A nice way to avoid the crowds if you're going for the summit. 8 pitches up the ridge with many ways to go.


Approach by walking towards the Pelerins glacier. From the snowfields, climb about 100m of slick 4th class granite and gain a trail. Follow this left into the Couloir Papillon. The route starts about 100m above where the trail enters Couloir Papillon at a ledge above some grassy slabs.


Single set of cams plus draws and slings.
