Across the valley from the caves and red walls of Aginonta you'l find a shady series of two crags of which have refitted hardware and buffed out with new routes as recently as 2015/2016. Listed as Arginota Valley, this moderates galore crag is near the valley floor and features three wall (left cave, middle wall and right wall). The neighboring Black Buddha sits atop a steep (and sunny) approach. Both areas face north providing a good shade option from mid-morning until dark. This sector has vertical rock, semi-longer routes with PLENTY of bolts and fixed lower-offs. More than 50% of developed routes are under 6a+, those pushing grades will find nearly 20 routes in the 6b-7a range. Hard-core crushers may like this area for mileage only.

This area is posted as No Dogs, as they scare the goats and livestock.

Getting There

Located above the incredible Bay of Arginota Village.

Access is easy with a scooter or car and located 4 miles from Massouri. From Arginonta Village turn right after passing the Bee Shop, at first glance this looks like a parking area for the restaurant/bee shop or the church located on your left. Continue on and at the back of the lot a road narrows for about 200m before turning to dirt. The dirt road is easy to navigate on the scooter and recommended to park before the gate and under a large olive tree. Pick your destination path through the gate (right) and skirting the base (visible) or by foot walking the road to a direct approach trail/hill. The valley floor is farmland/graze-land and marked off for trespassing. Recent signs are posted for access or trail entry points.
