from a short ice bulge at the top of the scree cone this route follows short ice flows and slabby pitches in the woods up and left of the P.E. wall

Walking up the lower right side of Alpine Dreams scree cone to get to the first bulge. The huge tree just to the left of the climbers head is a decent spot to set a belay if you are going to place gear on the little piece of ice in the upper left.

The little bulge to get up into the Alpine Dreams drainage. If low snow, sometimes there is a full pitch of WI2 starting down lower. In deeper snow like this, just 40-50 feet of some ice to get through.
