Anyone around Birmingham want to climb on the weekends for the next month or so? I'm working out of Montgomery and plan on driving up every weekend except that of the 21st, through Feb 10th. Normally I'm a trad climber by trade but since all that's around are small rocks, I might as well climb those. I am an old-school 5.9 trad leader, 12b/c sport projecter, so maybe I can boulder like 4s or 5s? Not too worried about getting on anything specific, just want to climb outside and stay strong while I'm away from home.

Hey Adam. Don't count out alabama trad. I lived in bham for a few years. Steele, palisades, and Jamestown are great places to climb. Also, the people in Birmingham are pretty awesome when it comes to finding a trad partner.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
