This circa early 1980's route is on the east face cirque.

This route is called "A Shimmering Abstraction". It was done by Arno Ilgner and Steve Petro in 1986. It's about 1000 feet long and is 11b or so. The FA party supplemented clean gear with blades, but it's been repeated clean with an R rating. All the bolts (maybe 10) are self-drive 5/16...and should be considered suspect.
