A sad day for the climbing world. We have lost a legend.

Hate to hear it. He was an inspiration to me and my friends. JB |

Will someone get this depressing shit straight!? |

Our sport might not be where it is today without him. His contribution monumental. Truly a pioneer and legend. |

If you started climbing the way I and my friends did you owned "Basic Rockcraft" and "Advanced Rockcraft" and most likely a pair of RR climbing boots. |

RIP and thanks for this gem mountainproject.com/v/cerbe… it was the first route I climbed in the Needles of South Dakota and it will always be in my memory. |

A tribute going on here: |

Thanks for the guiding spirit RR. I've tried to follow your lead. |

The epitome of style. Really enjoyed his writings, The Golden Age, Fear Falling & To Be Brave. |
