Very nice off-balance finger crack.

Current San Diego County Advisories MORE INFO >>>

Description

Arching tips crack. Quite difficult, powerful, and sustanied. The feet are really bad. The crux is smart use of your feet.

Location

Slightly uphill and across the street from The Crucible. Look for a rock with 3 bolts on top. This climb is on a separate rock maybe 40 feet skiier's right from there.

Protection

Small cams to lead, maybe nuts. TR can be established with gear. Bring a variety of sizes for the anchor.

This is a great route. More approach beta: as already stated it's 40' skiers right of the boulder with 3 bolts on top, but it is also about 40' closer to the road than the boulder with 3 bolts.

Takes primarily 0.5's camalots.
