Getting There

From Wilderness trail head sign take the climber's trail going slightly up and right. Take first branch trail going right and cross the talus where a tree's crumbled remains are laid out over the talus. Traversing almost horizontally across the talus will lead to the start of the trail at the base of Punk Rock

Not to complain or brag, but I think the ratings for all the Bear routes are too high. Maybe they have gotten easier with lots of use over the last few years, but my 67 year old partner and I both thought they were all 5.6 to 5.7. So just don't think that because you did well on these, that you will cruise a 5.9 on Power Dome.

I did, however, really enjoy all three. They were quality rock, fun movement and well protected.

And I really like the birthday girl's name. Happy late birthday Julie!
