I was just up there last week, I didn't see that, I saw what appeared to be a lone sling around a large chock stone. I climbed the second pitch instead of lowering, and wished I hadn't. Can you say rope drag?

In 38 years of climbing I don't think I've owned that many slings.

i left the black sling i think and there were only two others, old blue and pink? it was a long time ago but very memorable as the leader left a death trap up there for me when i followed it. i think i left a nut too but pretty sure it didn't last long there. 2003ish?
